Friday Favorite : U-KISS - Doradora

This week for our Friday Favorite we will be reviewing U-KISS' latest title track 'Doradora' from their 6th mini-album which was released on April 24. Kiss me's you ready??

Honestly, when we first heard the name of this song we thought 'Dora the Explorer' but it seems that the word 'dora' means crazy in korean (explained by Kevin via twitter). This song is a combination of electronic and dubstep, which differs from the usual pop music other kpop artists tend to release. We wouldn't say this is their best song so far but it is fresh and catchy.

There is one thing we have to point out about this song that is both hilarious and "ehhhh *raises eyebrow*!? (which creates the effect of having to cough, laugh, ~~try to breath~~ and stay conscious) If you guys have listened to the song well (ahem...that is if you weren't busy fan girling) you would have noticed that Eli's voice changes from a manly rap to a pre-puberty 'I hate you'. Really!? Really!? Is that Eli's real voice or did the producer decide to change it??(~~or was it really Eli..~~ o.O) Oh well, we will over-look this as Eli (and the other members) are lookin' sexily bad-ass.

AJ's new haircut is like marmalade, you either hate it or love it.

One of us hates it while the other has lost her mind....

Talking about sexy.....have you seen their choreography!? It's not for the faint-hearted but if you don't wanna die with regrets we suggest you watch the mv if you haven't done so already. The body waves and heart pumps they do are just as good or maybe even better than what most girl groups out there can do. Kevin was also having his little private moments touching himself up (not that we're complaining).

The mv doesn't have a story line like '0330' did but it has one of the coolest sets that I have seen in U-KISS' videos yet. The glow in the dark room at the beginning was cool enough but having a multi-dimensional room with U-KISS members lying down on the bed ~~*pervy thoughts*~~ was a bonus. And we know what you, kiss me's, were thinking so don't deny your r²π (see what we did there?).

As we follow the MV throughout, we also get a peek at Kiseop's belly button. It's there for about 2 seconds however it stayed on our screens for about half an hour.

*drools*

Also just as a side note, this particular scene of Hoon spinning around gave us (one in particular) the feeling of a Tim Burton movie...for instance, Charlie and the Chocolate factory. It is just so animated yet real that it could have passed as a movie scene from Tim Burton. Just something we picked up on.

Finally, if you are diligent viewers, or if you've memorized the whole MV, you may have picked up on this: Hoon makes one of the weirdest faces ever! And it's not like one of the aegyo faces that foreigners find weird..it is full-fledged confusing. It starts around 0:37 on the MV. Watch closely....very closely....

Overall, the MV is in one word awesome and definitely compliments U-Kiss's attractiveness and creativity. We hope that in the future, they continue to do such great work and *cough* ~~make shirt grabbing and pulling longer~~ .
